Pau – Sentiero dell’ossidiana

Pau, is a small town in Alta Marmilla that currently has just under 300 inhabitants; located on the eastern side of the volcanic massif of Monte Arci, within an almost exclusively mountain territorial enclave it houses two of the most interesting sites in the area: the Obsidian Museum and in Sinzurreddus on Mount Arci, the so-called “Obsidian Path ".

In relation to the research for the museum, there is the "Path of the Obsidian" which preserves in its path a real "carpet" of processed and regular obsidian, the largest and richest neolithic chipping workshop in the Mediterranean, a magical place that it preserves a great historical and archaeological memory.
